## Summary

Valerii Serkin is a Security Operations & Engineering Leader with 14+ years of
experience building and running security functions from the ground up — Security
Operations Centers (SOCs), detection engineering and threat hunting teams, DFIR
practices, and security automation programs.

He has stood up SOCs from zero, led teams of 20+ analysts, and built the tooling
and automation that make those teams effective. His work spans the full defensive
lifecycle: monitoring and detection, incident response, digital forensics, threat
intelligence, and security automation (SOAR). He is also a hands-on engineer,
writing internal tooling and microservices in Python, Go, Rust, and .NET Core.

Currently he leads Security Engineering at TradingView, where he established the
internal SOC and pioneered methods to detect and prevent unsanctioned "shadow AI"
usage across the organization.
